Motor World Inc. ("Motor World," "we," "us," or "our") operates the online credit application available at apply.rocketcarloans.com (the "Site"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. Because we help arrange vehicle financing, we are considered a "financial institution" under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and this policy also serves as our privacy notice under that law.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the information you provide directly when you fill out and submit a credit application, which may include:

Identifying information — your name, date of birth, home address, email address, and phone number.
Sensitive financial information — your Social Security number, employment and income details, housing status and payment, and bankruptcy history.
Co-applicant information — the same categories of information for a co-applicant, spouse, or co-signer, when you choose to include one. You are responsible for having that person's permission to provide their information.
Technical information — basic information your browser or device sends automatically, such as IP address and general device type, used to keep the Site secure and working.

We collect this information only when you enter it and submit the application. We do not knowingly collect more than we need to evaluate and process your financing request.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

Process your credit application and evaluate your request for vehicle financing;
Submit your application to one or more lenders or financial institutions to seek financing on your behalf;
Contact you about your application, financing options, and related dealership services by phone, text, or email;
Verify your identity and help prevent fraud;
Keep records and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lender requirements.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only as needed to process your request and as permitted or required by law. Specifically, we may share it with:

Lenders and financial institutions — to obtain a financing decision for your vehicle purchase, including through dealer financing platforms such as DealerTrack.
Service providers — companies that host our Site and securely store our data, and that help us send appointment and follow-up communications, acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. These providers receive only the information they need, and our communications providers are not given your Social Security number.
Legal and safety reasons — when required by law, subpoena, or regulation, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, our business, or others.
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your nonpublic personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Credit Inquiries

By submitting an application, you authorize Motor World and the lenders we work with to obtain your credit report and related information from consumer reporting agencies as part of evaluating your financing request. This may result in an inquiry on your credit file. Information from those reports is used and shared consistent with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and other applicable law.

5. Text Messages (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number, you consent to receive calls and text messages from us about your application and financing, including through an automated messaging system. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or contact us using the details below. Opting out of marketing messages will not stop essential messages about an application already in progress.

6. How We Protect Your Information

We maintain a written information security program with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, consistent with the FTC Safeguards Rule. These safeguards include encrypting Social Security numbers, protecting all data in transit with encryption, requiring multi-factor authentication for staff who access customer records, limiting access to authorized personnel, and logging access to sensitive information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable and appropriate measures.

7. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your application information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy and to meet legal, tax, and lender recordkeeping requirements. Credit application records are generally retained for at least the period required by law (for example, the record-retention period under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act) and are then securely deleted or destroyed.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You may contact us to ask about the information we hold about you, to correct inaccurate information, or to ask us to delete information where we are not required to keep it. You may also opt out of marketing calls, texts, or emails at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws regarding access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; to exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below and we will respond as required by applicable law.

9. Cookies and Analytics

The Site uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed to operate and secure the application and, where used, to understand general Site usage. We do not use the application Site to build advertising profiles about you.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults age 18 and older applying for vehicle financing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to Other Sites

Our Site or communications may contain links to third-party websites, such as lenders. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Effective" date above and post the updated policy on this page. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
